CPR, BLS & AED Certification Courses

 

Mid-Minnesota EMS Education can meet your CPR training needs whether you are a lay rescuer or a medical professional.  We utilize programs from the American Heart Association, Health and Safety Institute and Emergency Care and Safety Institute. These programs allow us to work with your organization to find a program that meets your needs.

CPR and AED for Lay Rescuers

This course, intended for the non-professional rescuer trains participants to perform CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner.  The course reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

Basic Life Support

This CPR Course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings.  Participants will learn to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.  The course reflects the science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
