Epinephrine Auto Injector Training

Minn. Stat. § 144.999 allows authorized entities including recreation camps, colleges, universities, preschools, day-care facilities, licensed nursing homes, boarding care homes, and home care providers to obtain, store, and use epinephrine auto-injectors obtained through a whole-sale pharmacy without the need for a prescription. Beginning August 1 of 2019 the Minnesota Department of Health expanded the eligibility list to include individuals who have completed the training.

Mid-Minnesota EMS Education, Inc., has been recognized as an authorized training agency by the Minnesota Department of Health. Participants successfully completing the education program will be issued a certificate of completion which must be presented at a wholesale pharmacy to purchase epinephrine auto injectors.
