Mid-Minnesota EMS Education is a Minnesota Emergency Medical Services Regulatory Board (EMSRB) approved provider of Emergency Medical Services Education programs.
Emergency Medical Responder
The primary focus of an EMR is to initiate immediate lifesaving care to critical patients. As an EMR, you will possess the basic knowledge and skills necessary to provide lifesaving interventions while awaiting additional EMS response. You will also assist higher level providers on scene and during transport.

- Trauma
- Childbirth emergencies
Emergency Medical Technician
This rigorous course is designed to provide the student with the necessary knowledge and skills to be certified as an Emergency Medical Technician. This course, based on the US Department of Transportation National Standard Curriculum will provide the student with knowledge of:
- Basic anatomy and physiology and pathophysiology
- Patient assessment
- Airway and cardiac arrest management
- Hemorrhage control
- Basic wound care
- Management of orthopedic emergencies
- Childbirth
- Response to medical emergencies
- Emergency medical services operations.
Emergency Medical Services Continuing Education/Refresher Training
